So our next stop was in collaboration with the Royal college of Art at Neville Brody's Anti-Design Festival which was situated in Redchurch street in London as part of Design week! We were joined by half a dozen or so young people who were from an organisation called New Deal for the New Mind who work with people to create creative opportunities in disenfranchised areas.
We had a great day with great people and the results were terrific. We were also pleased to work with some of our friends and tutors from the RCA including Jon Wozencroft, Jennifer Nightingale, Nicky Hamlyn and the legendary Al Rees (everyone with a passing interest in artists film should read Al's book A History of Experimental Film and Video). Our friend Rebecca Davies was also there and she is currently setting up a two week residency at the Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre, documenting the demolition of the space and the regeneration of the area. More on that again soon as we will be taking up the offer to spend three days at the Elephant in November...
Chris will be putting up the results on here ASAP but we were pleased to meet so many people who will hopefully come out to see us at our next gig in London on the 17th at Dalston Eastern Curve Garden.
A big gig next weekend coming up at Abandon Normal Devices Festival with our two day residency at Noise Lab...
