We are really pleased that our first workshop was a great success .
Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival was a fantastic festival and wonderful setting run by lovely people.
We arrived late on saturday night and were annoyed to realise we'd missed the special performance by the legendary Guy Sherwin but enjoyed meeting Felicity Sparrow who was there to install her late husband, Ian Breakwell's film installation 'The Other Side' which was filmed in Bexhill at the De la warr Pavilion - a venue that we will be visiting in October for one of our workshops!
Throughout the day we met many young people who were there to witness the prizegiving of the young filmmaker's showcase followed by many older residents of Berwick who came to see the amazing archival footage of the town filmed by the Rev John Jackson. We couldn't have asked for a better start to Unravel! Next stop...Neville Brody's Anti Design Festival!
